Since the inception of AMRITA - school and rehabilitation centre in 2009, it has remained committed to provide the best rehabilitation services to children of Kanpur as well as nearby areas. It caters to children from the age range of 5 months to 20 years.
It has three sections- the school, the rehabilitation unit, and the Samarth vocational unit. Best in class service of –psychological assessment, counselling, special education, occupational therapy, physiotherapy and speech therapy is provided by the centre.
At AMRITA, we follow formal assessment and parent counselling of each child prior to the therapies. Regular home based program is provided to the children coming from far away, their progress in monitored and evaluated fortnightly along with therapy sessions. We emphasize on quality and impactful service for each child to achieve sustainable changes in life of child and well being of his/her family.
AMRITA’s doors are always open for children with a variety of disabilities belonging to varied socio-economic backgrounds. Being a non profit organization, the school tries its best to provide concession in fee for the therapies and schooling to children from poor economic background. The assistance in the form of donation made by you will help the child receive the needful services. The donation would go a long way in helping the child and family receive the best service in town.
